Want to get more out of our Sunday discussions? Try these simple steps before you come to class:

☐ Read it. Spend a few minutes reading the assigned section of For the Strength of Youth and any scriptures listed for the week.

☐ Notice something. Mark a phrase, scripture, or idea that stands out to you. Ask yourself, Why did this catch my attention?

☐ Bring a question. Is there something you don't completely understand or would like to explore? Bring it with you! Questions can lead to some of the best discussions.

☐ Think about your life. Consider how the principle applies to something you have experienced—or something you're currently facing.

☐ Pray about it. Ask Heavenly Father what He wants you to learn and how the Spirit can guide you during the discussion.

☐ Come ready to share. You don't need a perfect answer or a prepared speech. A thought, experience, question, or testimony you feel comfortable sharing can help someone else.

☐ Come ready to listen. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we gain from class is hearing another young woman or young man’s experience or perspective.

Remember: You don't have to know everything before you walk through the door. Come curious, come prepared, and come ready to learn from the Spirit and from each other.
