Dear Ward Members,
If you are interested in reading the Discussion Guide or watching the full video of President Christofferson and Elder Cook's discussion, the link for that is below.
There is also a link included for the talk the President Oaks gave in 2021 that is referenced throughout the preparation materials.
Lastly, a reminder that the First Presidency has invited Church members to "participate in a unified fast to express gratitude for religious liberty and to pray that it be strengthened throughout the world" on July 5, 2026.
Thank you and have a wonderful day,
The Sunday School Presidency

A weekly Gathering Place for YSAs in Springville has been established and we ask that you extend a personal invitation to all graduating seniors and all other YSAs in your ward boundary to attend the Gathering Place.
A Gathering Place is a space where young single adults can participate in uplifting activities and experiences that strengthen connections with one another and with the Lord. For now, it consists of Institute classes and a dinner every Thursday night. The Gathering Place is held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 50 N Main Street in Springville. For more information about gathering places for young single adults please refer to the following website:

Road Trip Ready
I know we have been experiencing Spring weather since about November, but now it truly is Spring, it’s time to get that car or truck ready for late Spring and Summer roadtrips. It’s best to focus on fluids, tires, cooling, wipers, and a thorough cleaning so small problems do not turn into bigger repairs.
Things to Check
Inspect and top off fluids: engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and washer fluid.
Check tire pressure, tread depth, and visible damage; rotate tires if needed, and swap off winter tires once cold weather is done.
Test the air conditioning before hot weather arrives.
Replace worn windshield wipers and refill washer fluid for Spring rain. (Let’s all pray for Spring rain as well. We are going to need it.)
Look at the battery, belts, hoses, brakes, suspension, and undercarriage for wear, leaks, or corrosion from winter road salt.
Wash your car, including the undercarriage and wheel wells, to remove salt and protect paint from rust and UV damage.
Summer-time habits
Monitor your tire pressure more often in hot weather because heat increases pressure and tire stress. You don’t want a blow-out on I-15 between Fillmore and St. George.
Keep an eye on coolant levels and the temperature gauge to help prevent overheating.
Pack a roadside kit with water, flashlight, jumper cables, and basic tools if you will be traveling. Consider also packing extra coolant and oil.
Protect the cabin from heat and UV damage by using sunshades and keeping the interior clean. Also, that chapstick and those chocolate snacks, consider putting them back in the house until colder weather. Unless you love melted chocolate and liquid chapstick.
Consider subscribing to a roadside service such as AAA. Often your cell phone carriers will offer that as an option.
Invest in a small cooler to take with you to keep drinks cool for the drive.
When: every Tuesday evening at 21:00 (9pm)
Where: Stake Center
Players of all skill levels are welcome.
