Thank you for your attendance at the Temple this week, and for any other time you went, and for all the times in the future you go, and for every other thing you do in family history. Our beloved prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, implores us to go to the Temple and do other work of gathering to help prepare ourselves and our loved ones, and others for the grand Second Coming of our Savior. Yes, He is coming! Let’s strive to be as prepared as we can.

The stake has a two-part class for temple prep.

Part 1: Sunday, 8 June, 2:30 – 3:30

Part 2: Sunday, 15 June, 2:30 – 3:30

Classes are held in the Stake Center, Room 111 (by the rear entrance).

As July can be a difficult month to attend (due to holidays and vacations), June is a great window for anyone preparing to receive their endowments this summer. It's always great when students are accompanied by an endowed parent or sibling.

A weekly Gathering Place for YSAs in Springville has been established and we ask that you extend a personal invitation to all graduating seniors and all other YSAs in your ward boundary to attend the Gathering Place.

A Gathering Place is a space where young single adults can participate in uplifting activities and experiences that strengthen connections with one another and with the Lord. For now, it consists of Institute classes and a dinner every Thursday night. The Gathering Place is held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 50 N Main Street in Springville. Establishing a YSA Gathering Place

Stake choir is starting up again, preparing for Stake Conference on the 17th of August. Rehearsals will be held every Sunday at 3 pm in the chapel of the stake center, beginning on June 1st, except Father’s Day.

All are welcome!

Empty Nesters’ Family Home Evening will be June 09, 19:00 (7pm), at the Mottishaw home, 791 N 375 E.
