"I love the temple. I always have. What I especially love about the temple is the way that it strengthens the love between my wife and me, our bonds with our six children, and the overall sense of tranquility in our home. I have truly experienced the power that comes from making and honoring sacred temple covenants and the refuge these holy buildings give us from the temptations and unrest of the world."

A weekly Gathering Place for YSAs in Springville has been established and we ask that you extend a personal invitation to all graduating seniors and all other YSAs in your ward boundary to attend the Gathering Place.
A Gathering Place is a space where young single adults can participate in uplifting activities and experiences that strengthen connections with one another and with the Lord. For now, it consists of Institute classes and a dinner every Thursday night. The Gathering Place is held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 50 N Main Street in Springville. For more information about gathering places for young single adults please refer to the following website:

Stake choir is starting up again, preparing for Stake Conference on the 17th of August. Rehearsals will be held every Sunday at 3 pm in the chapel of the stake center.
All are welcome!
In the last few weeks wars and rumors of wars have been in the news nearly every night. A war with Iran was more than possible. Were you ready if you and your family were told to evacuate to a shelter. Did you have a go bag ready? Did it have clothes for this time of year. If not, here are some helpful ideas I invite you to review and consider as you prepare a go bag. To avoid having the wrong kind of seasonal clothing in your bag consider changing out summer clothes for warmer clothes and footwear at the October General Conference and changing your winter warm clothes for cooler clothes at the April General Conference. It can get pretty warm in an evacuation shelter. Remember, you have to be able to carry your Go-Bag.
The cultural hall wood floors have maintenance every few years to screen and add a seal coat or refinish the floor.

Week of Monday 2025 July 14
We ask that all chairs, tables, pianos, etc. be removed prior to the scheduled date.
The other areas of the building can be used during this week. The finish does have a strong smell shortly after it is poured, so consideration may want to be taken. We ensure air quality is safe during that time though.
No one is allowed in the gym during this week, even if the floor may look or feel dry to the touch.
Upon completion:
Light foot traffic that following Sunday.
Light use of the floor the following week. No sports, dances, large gatherings. The finish is still soft underneath and could move.
Please do not move large chair or table carts on the floor for an additional week.
Please do not move pianos back on the floor for 30 days.
If a floor does not have pickleball courts on it, they will be added if the floor is scheduled this year.
We will add as many as can safely fit per pickleball regulation dimensions.
If a funeral or other emergency activity needs to be scheduled, please notify me as soon as possible so we can work to have the schedule rearranged.
